Andrea Williamson is a Calgary-based visual artist, who graduated in 2007 from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, majoring in Fine Arts and Media Arts. Her current practice involves print media, drawing and painting. Her concentration on media images and newspaper photographs is based on an ethics of care, community and difference. Through her representation of worldly images she wishes to express a social environment where respect for the other is paramount.
